The Microsoft Word toolkit lets LLMs create, read, and edit Word documents stored in OneDrive via the Microsoft Graph API.
Capabilities
- Document creation — Create new
.docxfiles in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit). - Document reading — Retrieve document metadata and/or full content; content is returned as Markdown by default, with a metadata-only mode available.
- Document editing — Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit). - User/environment introspection — Fetch details about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup details.
